Suisui Overview
In Wuthering Waves, Suisui is a 5-Stars Glacio character and uses Rectifier during the fight.
Suisui Mechanism
Suisui’s gameplay has two main phases. First, build Cloud Breath in Zephyr Stance. Then use Awakening Spring to enter Drizzle Stance, build Floral Epistle, deploy Ceaseless Landscape, and finish with her Outro Skill to activate her team buffs.
Zephyr Stance
Suisui’s default state is called Zephyr Stance. Her Forte resource in this state is Cloud Breath, which can hold up to 120 points.
While in Zephyr Stance, Suisui can restore Cloud Breath with her Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill.
There is one important detail about her Resonance Skill. The skill can continue after Suisui leaves the field, but its hit only restores Cloud Breath if Suisui is still the active Resonator when it lands.
Her Basic Attack has four stages. The first three stages are enough to fill Cloud Breath completely. Because of this, you usually only need the Resonance Skill when her Basic Attack combo is interrupted and she is just short of a full gauge.
Suisui also has a special dodge called Dodge – Parting Mist. Use Dodge while she is performing a grounded attack to cast it. If the dodge is successful, it also restores Cloud Breath.
When Cloud Breath is full, her Resonance Skill lights up and becomes Awakening Spring.
Casting Awakening Spring consumes all Cloud Breath and sends Suisui into Drizzle Stance. The skill also:
Pulls nearby enemies together.
Inflicts 1 stack of Glacio Chafe on enemies it hits.
Deals damage based on Suisui’s Max HP.
Drizzle Stance
After entering Drizzle Stance, Suisui’s Forte gauge changes into three sections.
Her resource is now called Floral Epistle, with a maximum of 600 points. Suisui also gains increased resistance to interruption during this state.
Her enhanced Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill restore Floral Epistle. As before, the Resonance Skill only restores the resource on hit if Suisui is the active Resonator. One full enhanced Basic Attack combo fills Floral Epistle completely.
The enhanced Basic Attack has two important effects:
Stage 3 continuously pulls nearby enemies together.
Stage 4 inflicts 1 stack of Glacio Chafe on enemies it hits.
Dodge – Parting Mist also works during Drizzle Stance. A successful dodge restores Floral Epistle and does not reset the current stage of her enhanced Basic Attack combo.
Once Floral Epistle is full, Suisui is ready to use her Resonance Liberation.
Resonance Liberation: Ceaseless Landscape
Suisui’s Resonance Liberation, Song of Thoroughfare, deploys a field called Ceaseless Landscape for 30 seconds.
Team members inside the field can receive three types of benefits.
1. Higher Stack Limits for Four Negative Statuses
When a Resonator inflicts Spectro Frazzle, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, or Aero Erosion, or deals the matching Negative Status DMG, the target’s maximum stack limit for that status increases by 3 for 15 seconds. This effect does not stack.
2. Higher Electro Flare and Electro Rage Limits
When a Resonator inflicts Electro Flare or deals Electro Flare DMG, the target’s maximum stack limits for both Electro Flare and Electro Rage increase by 3 for 15 seconds. This effect does not stack.
In simple terms, Ceaseless Landscape can raise the stack limit of every Negative Status except Havoc Bane.
For example, in a Yangyang: Xuanling, Chisa, and Suisui team, only Chisa’s Outro Skill and Yangyang: Xuanling’s Sequence 3 can raise the enemy’s Havoc Bane stack limit.
3. Havoc Bane Consumption Bonus
When a Resonator consumes Havoc Bane stacks from an enemy, their Havoc DMG ignores 6% of the target’s DEF and 12% of its Havoc RES for 30 seconds. This effect does not stack.
At present, only Yangyang: Xuanling can trigger this effect.
Outro Skill and Roaming Transcendent
If Suisui casts Outro Skill – Rippling Waters while Ceaseless Landscape is active, she consumes all Floral Epistle and enters Roaming Transcendent for 30 seconds.
During this time, the whole team gains 25% All DMG Amplification. If Suisui is not the active Resonator, she remains airborne and performs a Transcendent Dance.
The extra effects depend on how much Floral Epistle she consumes.
Floral Epistle
All nearby team members gain Reflecting Shadows for 6 seconds, increasing their resistance to interruption.
At Least 200 Floral Epistle: One Plume Step
Suisui performs one Plume Step 6 seconds after her Outro Skill.
Each Plume Step:
Grants Reflecting Shadows to the team for 6 seconds.
Inflicts 1 stack of Glacio Chafe on enemies inside Ceaseless Landscape.
Restores HP to nearby active team members inside the field.
At Least 400 Floral Epistle: Two Plume Steps
The active Resonator inside Ceaseless Landscape deals more damage while they have Reflecting Shadows. The bonus scales with Suisui’s Energy Regen and reaches its maximum of 12% at 260% Energy Regen.
Suisui also performs a second Plume Step 6 seconds after the first one.
At Least 600 Floral Epistle: Three Plume Steps
Suisui can perform three Plume Steps.
When she performs the first Plume Step, the current active Resonator gains a special relay effect for the rest of Roaming Transcendent. The next time that Resonator casts their Outro Skill, the incoming Resonator gains Undulating Mist for 14 seconds.
In simple terms:
Suisui consumes 600 Floral Epistle and uses her Outro Skill to bring in the second team member.
The second team member later uses their Outro Skill.
The incoming main DPS receives Undulating Mist.
While Undulating Mist is active, consuming a target’s Negative Status or Electro Rage stacks grants an ATK increase based on Suisui’s Energy Regen. The bonus reaches its maximum of 50% at 260% Energy Regen.
The ATK increase lasts for 6 seconds and does not stack. However, it can be triggered again during Undulating Mist’s 14-second duration.
If the Resonator carrying Undulating Mist switches off the field, both Undulating Mist and its ATK increase are removed.
Inherent Skills
Sky Over Water
Casting Resonance Skill – Awakening Spring or Intro Skill – Tinkling Jade grants the team 1 stack of Enrichment. When a Resonator enters the field, they automatically consume Enrichment to receive healing.
After unlocking Inherent Skill – Sky Over Water, consuming Enrichment also grants that Resonator 10 stacks of Spring’s Birth. If they are not at full HP, 1 stack is consumed every 2 seconds to restore HP.
When Awakening Spring or Tinkling Jade hits an enemy, Suisui also gains:
18 Concerto Energy.
13 Resonance Energy.
80% increased Crit. Rate for that attack.
240% increased Glacio DMG for that attack.
This effect can trigger once every 25 seconds.
Glimmering Gold
After unlocking Inherent Skill – Glimmering Gold, Suisui can prevent another team member from being knocked out once every 10 minutes.
When another Resonator takes a fatal hit:
They recover HP equal to 50% of Suisui’s current HP.
Suisui loses the same amount of HP.
This effect cannot reduce Suisui below 1 HP.

– If Ceaseless Landscape is active, Suisui may perform the second Plume Step within a certain time into her Transcendent Dance while in Roaming Transcendent.
At least 600 Floral Epistle consumed:
– When Suisui performs the first Plume Step, all nearby active Resonators in the team within the Ceaseless Landscape gain the following effects for the duration of this Roaming Transcendent:
– When they cast Outro Skill, Suisui grants the incoming Resonator Undulating Mist. When Resonators with Undulating Mist consume Negative Status or Electro Rage stacks on the target, they gain an ATK increase: For every 0.12% of Suisui’s Energy Regen over 200%, the Resonator’s ATK is increased by 0.1% for 6s, up to 50%. Undulating Mist lasts for 14s or until the Resonator is switched off the field. When Undulating Mist is removed, the ATK increase effect is also removed.

Suisui Resonance Chain
S1
S1 mainly allows the second-slot Resonator brought in by Suisui’s Outro Skill to benefit from the ATK increase as well.
However, the first Plume Step does not occur until 6 seconds after Suisui casts her Outro Skill, so the actual value is fairly limited. The timing of the first Plume Step may still change, so this should be tested again before release.
S1 also doubles the duration of Reflecting Shadows granted by the third Plume Step. In other words, this applies to the second Plume Step that occurs after the main DPS enters the field. The benefit is still fairly minor. Reflecting Shadows improves resistance to interruption, but it does not provide complete interruption immunity.
Lastly, S1 gives Suisui’s enhanced Basic Attacks interruption immunity. This feels good in practice because Suisui must remain on the field to generate Floral Epistle with her enhanced Basic Attack combo.
S2
S2 is a straightforward 50% Crit. DMG increase. However, it is still limited to Negative Status teams.
S3
S3 saves rotation time. After Suisui enters the field, using Resonance Skill – Drizzle Stance followed by Basic Attack – Drizzle Stance Stage 4 immediately fills her Floral Epistle gauge.
S4
S4 provides only a very small increase to Suisui’s healing output.
S5
S5 provides only a minor increase to Suisui’s personal damage.
S6
S6 is similar to Shorekeeper’s final Resonance Chain. It gives a healer access to a powerful nuke-style attack.

Mountains Washed Into Paintings
Suisui Sequence 1
Resonators with Undulating Mist also gain ATK increase after inflicting Negative Status or dealing Negative Status DMG.
The duration of Reflecting Shadows obtained through the third Plume Step is extended by 100%.

Clouds Pour Like Molten Gold
Suisui Sequence 2
All nearby Resonators in the team within the Ceaseless Landscape have their Crit. DMG increased by 50% for 30s after performing the following actions:
– Inflicting Spectro Frazzle, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, Aero Erosion, and Electro Flare, or dealing the corresponding Negative Status DMG.
– Consuming Havoc Bane stacks on the target.
When the active Resonator is not in the Ceaseless Landscape, this Crit. DMG bonus effect is disabled.

Calcharo
Calcharo primarily uses the enhanced Basic Attack and enhanced Forte Circuit after using Resonance Liberation for damage output. In the series of damage output after using Resonance Liberation, the damage ratio between Resonance Liberation and Basic Attack is approximately 2.2:1. Additionally, the Resonance Skill can be released at intervals, allowing full enjoyment of the permanent five-star weapon’s effects.
After using Resonance Liberation, Calcharo gains a new Basic Attack model. The multiplier for this attack is related to the level of Resonance Liberation, but the main proportion of his damage comes from the “Death Messenger” in Forte Circuit. Resonance Skill can be used during the Liberation period to interrupt Basic Attack combos, quickly generate Forte Circuit Energy, and trigger “Death Messenger”. The main components of his damage output consist of these three elements.
Encore
mong the permanent 5-star Fusion DPS characters, Encore enters an enhanced state and changes attack mode after activating Resonance Liberation. The main source of Encore’s damage comes from Basic Attacks after activating Resonance Liberation, not the Forte Circuit. Additionally, the cooldowns for Encore’s regular Resonance Skill and the enhanced Resonance Skill during Resonance Liberation are independent of each other.
In Encore’s damage output after activating Resonance Liberation, Basic Attack damage accounts for nearly 70%. Choosing Sanhua as a teammate can maximize her damage potential.
Sanhua
Although Sanhua has burst capabilities, the overall damage is not high. In Sanhua’s output cycle, Resonance Skill damage and Resonance Liberation account for approximately 51% and 41%, respectively.
Although Resonance Skill damage is slightly higher, there is a risk of missing in actual combat. Sanhua has a unique Forte Circuit trigger mechanism similar to rhythm games, and hitting enemies can cause a slight time-stopping effect.
Sanhua has the fastest Concerto Energy and Resonance Energy acquisition efficiency in the game, making it the most versatile and best-feeling support in the current version. After using the Intro Skill, Sanhua only needs 3 seconds to fully charge Concerto Energy and trigger QTE, activating the Main DPS for output. Our team composition recommendations for various characters also show Sanhua’s high versatility.
