Verina Overview

Verina, once part of an expedition team representing the New Federation’s Pioneer Association, is now a modest and resolute plant breeder. Regardless of the circumstance, she consistently finds herself assuming caretaker responsibilities during expeditions, showcasing remarkable perseverance despite her age.

In Wuthering Waves, Verina is a 5 Stars Spectro character and uses Rectifier during the fight.

Verina Review

Verina is a 5-Star Spectro character in Wuthering Waves.

After the enhancements in the OBT, the consumption rate of Photosynthesis Energy has significantly increased. Using one layer of Photosynthesis Energy now grants 12 Concerto Energy, greatly reducing Verina’s required on-field time. Additionally, Healing Efficiency has been markedly improved, resolving the issue in CBT3 where she couldn’t keep up with Baizhi.

Due to the unique nature of the Healer role’s Outro Skill, a healer is essential for the Main DPS to achieve maximum damage, underscoring Verina’s indispensability. Furthermore, since Verina’s healing is based on her attack power, she also has some offensive capabilities, which, while not exceptional, are still noteworthy. This, of course, assumes Verina is built correctly.

Pros

  • Verina’s healing ability and Concerto Energy acquisition surpass Baizhi, making her the preferred healer.
  • Verina’s Inherent Skill provides a death immunity effect. While Baizhi’s death immunity is superior, it requires Sequence 5.
  • Verina’s Inherent Skill can provide a 20% ATK buff to the entire team, whereas Baizhi can only provide a 15% ATK buff to a single character.

Cons

  • Most of Verina’s healing from Resonance Liberation can only be provided to the on-field character. This means a heavily damaged on-field character must continuously attack to receive significant healing, posing a death risk.
  • After using the Intro Skill to enter the field, Verina can seamlessly use aerial attacks to consume Photosynthesis, but this leads to a landing process, preventing the immediate use of Echo Skill or Resonance Skill.

Main DPS – Calcharo

Verina can provides All type DMG Deepen and ATK buff to Calcharo to maximize his damage.

Sub DPS – Yinlin/Sanhua/Jianxin

Yinlin’s Outro Skill perfectly complements Calcharo. During Resonance Liberation, Calcharo’s Liberation Damage and Basic Attack Damage are approximately in a 2:1 ratio. Yinlin also provides Resonance Liberation Deepen and Electro Damage Deepen.

Sanhua’s Outro Skill provides a 38% Basic Attack DMG Deepen, which is lower than Yinlin’s. However, Sanhua’s Concerto Energy generation efficiency is higher.

Jianxin’s Outro Skill provides a 38% Resonance Liberation DMG Deepen. At first glance, Jianxin might seem more suitable for Calcharo than Sanhua. However, Jianxin’s low Concerto Energy generation efficiency results in a slower start-up for Calcharo.

On the upside, Jianxin can provide an additional shield, which enhances Calcharo’s survivability in high-difficulty contents (given that Calcharo’s operation difficulty is relatively high).

Healer – Verina

Verina’s healing abilities and Concerto Energy acquisition abilities are both greater than Baizhi’s, making her the preferred healer character. Verina’s Inherent Skill provides a one-time death immunity effect.

Verina’s healing amount is based on her ATK, so Verina has a certain degree of damage output. If you build her well, her damage should not be underestimated.

Verina’s Inherent Skill can provide a 20% attack buff to the entire team.

Sanhua

Although Sanhua has burst capabilities, her overall damage is not high. In Sanhua’s output cycle, Resonance Skill damage and Resonance Liberation account for approximately 51% and 41% of her total damage, respectively.

While Resonance Skill damage is slightly higher, there is a risk of missing in actual combat. Sanhua features a unique Forte Circuit trigger mechanism similar to rhythm games, where hitting enemies can cause a slight time-stopping effect.

Baizhi

As the only healer among the 4-star characters, Baizhi offers a Resonance Liberation healing effect comparable to Verina’s. At high Resonance Chains, Baizhi provides resurrection and increases teammates’ Glacio damage.

Although Verina’s Concerto Energy acquisition ability was enhanced in the official release, Baizhi’s ability remains excellent.

By using the co-axial technique to accumulate passive energy, Baizhi can gain up to 42 points of Concerto Energy at once when using the Resonance Skill.

Yangyang

A free character obtained immediately upon entering the game, this character’s damage gradually falls behind as the game progresses due to the low Skill Multiplier.

Although her Concerto Energy acquisition ability is decent, her low damage output and unimpressive Outro Skill make it challenging to find a suitable team for her.
